<<< Time to move on Sudoku solving version alpha >>>

I don't know whether to be proud or ashamed.

Sudoku board number one.I just got beaten to the finish in a game of Sudoku. Not that unusual in itself; Jane is much better at Sudoku than I am but it wasn't Jane who beat me. It was a program that I wrote.

The Sudoku page is up an available and it can finish some Sodoku games. It can finish them faster than I can. It can't finish all of the games because I only have two of the five parts of the algorithm completed but those two are enough to finish at least one board (board number 4).

I'll be working on it some more in the coming weeks and hopefully soon it will be able to solve even the hard Sudoku games... maybe even faster than Jane ! After that, it will be able to create new Sudoku games and start doing fancy things like suggesting moves, providing hints at moves and highlighting rows, columns, blocks and mistakes you may have made.
